(((Hugs))) I can relate about your son being away from home. Our oldest and middle daughters are living far from home – one is married, one is going to school. Our youngest is still at home. I used your idea about the seasons of life for my TT post.

I can’t believe it’s a year already– I remember praying for you and your son as you prepared for his departure. Thanks for the reminder to remember the past fondly but to look forward with joy–that was really challenging for me six months ago, and I was only looking forward to kindergarten, not kids leaving home!

That scripture is DEFINITELY one of my favorite ones! And what’s so funny, I think the Lord is trying to tell me something with it today! I’ve heard it, and read it more than once today!
Praise God Thank you Jesus! I’m listening!

I’ll be praying for you and your family. I know that although you know they’ll be fine, it’s still difficult. No, I’ve not gone through it myself yet, but I’m the daughter that went off on her own. It’s been 4 years now, and I wouldn’t change it for a moment, but just remember, it’s hard on us too!
