- I am thankful that God gave me a second chance. Sometimes I am so overwhelmed by His love that I just burst in tears—especially when I listen to praise music in my car. Thank you Lord for guiding me back into Your arms and into your flock…
- I am thankful for my Sweetheart. During his spring-break he is doing a lot of projects around the house. Not only does he work on the things that he normally does (like yard work), but also lends me a hand with stuff that is my responsibility so we can spend time when I get off work…
- I am thankful for Bible study tools online. That saves me money that I would have to spend on concordances and references. My favorites are Lifeway, StudyLight and the ESV Online Tool…
- I am thankful for doctors and nurses that are trying to narrow down what causes Heather to have the horrible migraine headaches. As you think of her today, would you please pray for her and even stop by her blog…
- I am thankful that Darlene is guest posting at Laced with Grace for Heather. Darlene, thank you from the bottom of my heart…
- I am thankful for the very pleasant weather we have in Arizona. Although it is hard to stay focused at work, I love the springtime…
- I am thankful for email. It keeps me connected to friends and family from across the country and the world…

i am soooothankful for second chances too!!! we servea God that delights to restore, renew and rejuvenate His creation. AND I AM VERY VERY THANKFUL FOR THAT!!

The weather in AZ sounds amazing. It has been almost 2 years to the day that we were out there. It snowed in Flagstaff while we were there which for us was awesome because it doesn’t snow in FL! But the weather in the Canyon and Vegas and Zion was just beaautiful. I can’t wait to come back out there.
I love your list, I had never heard of Study Light I am going to have to check that out. I too am thankful for email, I would be lost without it.

Thank you for posting your favorite Bible study tools! I am looking for some passages about spring cleaning. I thought there was something about God pruning out the undesirable and extra stuff in our lives so that we could grow in the Him. This may have been the gist of a sermon I heard a few years ago but I am hoping to find something similair in His word. I will try to use the tools you mentioned to see what I can find.

Today, I am thankful for the billion crystal drops of rain that were hanging on the pine needle tips in the morning sun…as I lay beneath the tree, drinking in the joy of the occasional splash.

I was able to get Thankful Thursday posted this week. I missed last week, and I really missed it in my heart. Thank you so very much, Iris, for hosting this visual reminder to be thankful!
I’m still hoping to join this group one of these weeks. I love it. I almost joined again today, but being that it was the 15th of the month I had payroll. For some reason I was trying to think of 13 things. I must be mixed up with another meme.
Last Sunday I was pondering on that specific line that was discussed in our bible talk…. “the Lord of second chances…” Just the thought of how much God loves us and how he is not just a God of second chances, but of third, fourth, fifth and sixth chances indeed brings tears to my eyes.
I feel Thankful That I have a loving and forgiving God. I am Thankful for 2nd and 3rd & 4th chances. God is being really sweet to my Mother and I have never been more happy for her. She is 75 and going to be marring a Man that God has choosen for her in June and I have never seen her so happy. She is Thanking God for Having such a great man in her life and I am going to be happy to be getting him as my new Dad

I am thankful for my sweet children…including the unexpected new blessing who’s on the way;
I am thankful for the end of Horrible Winter (yes, I hate it) and the blooming of the redbuds and Bradford pears outside;
I am thankful for my husband, who works hard to support us;
I am thankful for the way God is stretching me right now, even though I’m squirming;
I am thankful for chocolate!
