Thankful Thursday ~ Random

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever! ~ Psalm 30:11-12 (ESV – emphasis mine)

I have no special focus today. I am thankful that I live in the grace of God. That is enough for me to praise His mighty name!!!!

  • I am thankful that the Lord teaches me from His Word new ways of living a more abundant life in Himā€¦

  • I am thankful for my beloved. His sense of humor makes me laugh out loudā€¦

  • I am thankful that our swamp cooler is still working at these high temperatures we are having right now (113F for the rest of the week). I am not ready for A/C yetā€¦

  • I am thankful that we have a roof over our head so we have shelter from the heatā€¦

  • I am thankful that our son is doing well for himself. He impresses me on how he is handling all the responsibilities of an adult. Except, I wish he would finally get his drivers license. But then again that gives me the opportunity to see him at least once a monthā€¦

  • I am thankful for the daily food on our tableā€¦

  • I am still thankful for Beth Mooreā€™s study ā€œStepping Upā€. She has, as always, so much to share and teach out of Scriptures in a new way. I am wondering if I have ever read the Psalms šŸ˜‰ ā€¦

  • I am thankful that the Lord is helping me to set my priorities in life. I struggled about this for the past 9 months, but thanks to Him, I am back on trackā€¦

  • Last, but not least, I am thankful for a day off with my beloved on Friday. I just love spending the day with himā€¦
