Oh, and I worked on my photography skills. I shot a few photos – 12,178 to be exact. Since I had so many photos (some good, some not so good, some really bad), I thought that I create an inspirational calendar for 2010.

You can get your own copy if you are interested . The cost is $20 (including shipping within the US). I am offering this calendar not for personal financial gain. Any proceeds from this calendar will go to “Samaritan’s Purse“. Not only will you get a handcrafted inspirational calendar, but also help others.

BTW, there will be no logo on the real calendar. Also, the calendar has some Christian holiday I added, for example “National Day of Prayer”. The verses are taking from the ESV (English Standard Version). The materials I used are from Mystique Designs, Lily Designs, MAG Designs, Newlife Dreams, and Michelle Pieters.

I know, I haven’t shared my progress on my Faithbook project. I thought to share my “N” page with you…Let me know what you think.

Now I am getting into the ‘hard’ letters (although “T” is already done). You see, I have to ‘feel’ the page — the photo, the color scheme, etc. I do have a gazillion photos, but the photo really needs to go with the Scripture passage – KWIM?

The materials I used for this particular page are by Galiscrap available at Digital Crea; the font is ‘Parade’ and the photo (of course) is by me.

I do hope that I can finish the Faithbook within the next couple of weeks so I can have it printed before Christmas….

November – wow!!! 2009 is flying by…some days I don’t know what happened this past year. Maybe I need to sit down to write out what 2009 was all about.

One thing I know for sure is that the Lord has been faithful. Do be honest, sometimes it is hard to wait patiently on the Lord. I still like to run in front of Him. Looking back over the past year I can honestly say that when I waited, things turned out for the better.

Lord of Heaven and Earth. Help me to be more like Your servant David. Help me to wait patiently. Only You can give me comfort and peace. Lord, help me to be more encouraging to others. You are my rock, my redeemer. In the precious name of Jesus ~ Amen…

Ah, yes…October is just around the corner and I finished the desktop for the up-coming month.
As I was searching through my photos to come up with a theme for this month, I came across a photo I took in Miami (Arizona). There is a church with a beautiful prayer garden. Not sure if you can see in this small version of the photo…on top you can see a foot…guess WHO’s …

Peace is something that I can only get when I am close to Him…He truly gives me a peace that this world can not give. If you are pulled in so many directions, or you loose heart, remember His words from John 14:27…

The kit I used is by Newlife Dreams Designs called “Autumn Splendor“. If you are into scrapping, I suggest to check out this kit…It is huge, and the papers alone are amazing!!!! The photo action I found at PanosFX.com – totally love it!!!!! I believe that this action is also available for PS Elements.

Wow – can you believe that September is just around the corner?!? Amazing how fast this year is going. If you like the desktop, click on the photo — it should take you directly to my Flickr page. The photo I took last year at one of my favorites spots in Arizona — ‘Boyce Thompson Arboretum‘. I hope what we can take a trip up to the park this Fall.

Well, normally I am a little late on creating the desktops for the month, but this weekend we took it easy so I thought I get a head start on the busy month ahead. I am very excited about September. I already have 2 photo sessions booked (check out my photo website how to book a session). My friend Lori is also featuring my photo site in the month of September; my birthday is this month…and we will have a wonderful Fall kick-off at Laced with Grace…(oh, and the best part of September – the temps in AZ finally go back under 110 ) …

Christmas is 25 days away — I think someone stole the months of October and November. For some reason, they are just a blur to me. I think I need professional help in organizing my days. Any suggestions my beloved readers?

Okay, so I work full-time, but what in the world happens to the rest of my days? I have tried a schedule, but it didn’t work. I cut out any ‘extra’ stuff in my life…well, I guess it was not enough cutting out…

I do hope that I get back on track with my blogging, because I like to read you encouraging posts on your blogs and comments here at Grace Alone.

One of my primary goals of blogging has always been to share His Word with the world…to point to the cross wherever I can; even in different kind of settings. In my latest digital LO’s I have combined my passion of photography, with my passion for His Word. I am working on a Faith Brag Book that I hopefully will be able to print (professionally) next year. Not sure if I will be able to sell it as a book (high cost) but we will see…
