As I had mentioned yesterday in my post “Fear of Change” God has been working on my heart — I don’t seem to mind changes as much as I used to…One thing I know for sure though, just like David pointed out in the above Psalm “The Lord is my strength…”.

In going with my theme for this year, the changes that happening currently in my life, I face fearlessly (most days). We are having changes again at my work, but this time I am thrilled!!!! We are getting a wonderful, knowledgeable supervisor in our region. I am really excited to work with her; she has taught me so much when I went through training 2 1/2 years ago. Also God answered my prayer for help with my work-load. We were able to hire another person who has worked previously for the company and knows all the ins-and-outs. The best part – she is a believer (God you are marvelous!!!!!)…

The second change that is happening I am thankful for this week has to do with LWG. My sweet friend Lori from Lori’s Reflections redesigned out devotional blog. The launch is on March 1st!!! I am so excited about the new design. Lori did an awesome job. I hope that you will take some time next week to explore our redesigned team blog. There will also be a drawing of a neat little price. But you have to stop by to find out what…Lori, thank you from the bottom of my heart to make the change happen — it was time after 3 1/2 years …

One other change that I am making (something I wanted to do for a long time), I will have on the first of every month a guest blogger at “Grace Alone…”. This upcoming Monday, Kathy Howard will stop by to introduce her new book “God’s Truth Revealed“. I am excited about the opportunity to have Kathy share her ministry with my readers.

Why testing? For one, I can not pick between 3 themes I like. I would like to ‘test-drive’ all three themes over the next three months. I need to know how user-friendly the theme is to my readers, and how well the theme ‘plays’ with my plugins…

The first theme I am testing for the next 30 days is called “Note-Paper”. I like the clean look; I am able to customize the header; I like how the sidebars do not look so cluttered (I am a little strange about clutter – just ask my beloved )

Let me know over the next 30 days what you like or don’t like about ‘Note-Paper’…

I have to say that I do enjoy the title “Lifelong Learner”; even if it means to step out of my comfort zone. I know that I have Someone I can trust with my journey and can gather strength if need be.

I think I need to ‘undust’ (maybe that is not a word ) my little corner of the blogging world. I have been away for little while…needed to figure out where I am going with life in general; and blogging in specific.

You see, I wanted always be real on my blog. I wanted to be an encouragement to others. But how could I encourage others, if I myself was discouraged. I think my biggest discouragement came that I couldn’t keep up with all the demands that blogging brings. Due to my job-change in 2006, I was unable to keep up with all the wonderful women bloggers out there…

I also looked at the success of others in the blogging world. That was just plain wrong…I should have just looked at who I am in Him. I totally lost focus on what this blog suppose to be about. About Him and making Him know to a hurting world…If I was to encourage some of my sisters along the way…Praise to Him!!!!

As some of you might know, Max Lucado is my all-time favorite Christian writer. I have quoted Him often here and elsewhere. Currently I am reading some of his books that were republished in one volume – just marvelous! One quote that really stuck from one of the books is my new motto:

“Changing direction in life is not tragic. Losing passion in life is…”

Yes, I lost passion in life for a little while. I forgot my purpose…Lord, thank you for the not-so-gentle reminder…

Oh, and this week I will be reviling something that I have been working on over the last couple of months…So, stay tuned. I am very excited about it …

It took me a very long time to upgrade to a newer version of WP. Not only because the back-end is totally different, but upgrading is always a pain…I hope that everything went well and you will not have any problems either seeing my blog, or leaving comments …

I know I have been really quiet over the last 6 months or so – just posting Thankful Thursdays…I do hope that I soon will be back to somewhat a ‘normal’ blogging schedule (whatever normal is for me ). One thing I do know, that with my Lord’s help, I will try to encourage you in your walk with Him.

Just a little up-date on my job. I can be very thankful that the training will be ‘officially’ over at the end of November. Believe me, I am so glad about that, because not much else fits into my old noggin’. I think I need to purge some stuff .

I have been busy with scrapping some old baby pictures of our son. Believe me — I have shed some tears while making those LO’s…AND I am reading a book – a book, besides my Bible. I am all giddy about that. It is called “Facing Your Giants” by Max Lucado. I highly recommend it.
