Grief Ministry ~ Blog Talk Radio

My friend and co-author of Laced with Grace, Marsha Harwood is co-hosting a blog talk radio show this morning at 11am EST (9 CT/8PT):

Do you know someone who’s hurting or grieving? Monday, on Grace Cafe ~ Sharing Life, Hope and a Cup of Coffee, Julie Hunsucker and Marsha Harwood will be joined by 2 women who have experienced the deepest of sorrows. Sometimes it’s hard to say Thank You, Lord. Especially in the midst of gut wrenching grief and sorrow. Will we ever feel like “celebrating” the holidays again – or anything for that matter?

Jane Barnard lost her husband after a 22 month long illness. Sharon Pearson lost her 14 year old daughter in a car accident and almost lost her 16 year old daughter in the same accident. Even if this is not the same form of grief you or your friend may be going through, the principles are the same. It is possible to say thank you, even when it seems impossible. Join us Monday at 11 Eastern time on the Christian Women Affiliate Radio Network on Blog Talk Radio or listen to the podcast later.

Lord of Heaven and Earth. There is so much hurt in this world. I thank You for Julie and Marsha speaking your love, grace and mercy to grieving women and men. Lord, bless their blog radio show this morning. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen

Congratulations to Bethany and Joshlin

Congratulations to Bethany and Joshlin for winning a gift card to a book store of your choice. I have sent out an email to you to find out which online bookstore you prefer.

Thank you all for making my birthday month a memorable one. Not sure what my next year will bring; trusting God for His guidance.

One thing I am working on is my first gallery for Visual Peacemakers 😉 . Sure, I do not travel abroad, but I read a wonderful article by Jerod Foster that made me think of photographs that I took right here in Phoenix.

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a blessed week,

Winner of MercyMe CD

Congratulations to Loren of “The Magoos News” for winning the MercyMe CD “The Generous Mr. Lovewell“. Loren, I pray that the CD will bless you as much as it has me. Maybe it will become one of your favorites as well.

You know, I so love blessing other people with my little giveaways. Sure, they might be not huge [in dollar value], but they are to me in a different sense.

You see, our God truly has blessed my life. I am not saying that the journey this side of heaven is easy, but nonetheless, I am blessed beyond measure. I am redeemed by Christ’s blood, I have a wonderful family, incredible friends, a roof over my head. What else do I need? That is why I want to give little blessings here and there through my giveaways…

Have a super blessed weekend…
