Jane Barnard lost her husband after a 22 month long illness. Sharon Pearson lost her 14 year old daughter in a car accident and almost lost her 16 year old daughter in the same accident. Even if this is not the same form of grief you or your friend may be going through, the principles are the same. It is possible to say thank you, even when it seems impossible. You know, I so love blessing other people with my little giveaways. Sure, they might be not huge [in dollar value], but they are to me in a different sense.
You see, our God truly has blessed my life. I am not saying that the journey this side of heaven is easy, but nonetheless, I am blessed beyond measure. I am redeemed by Christ’s blood, I have a wonderful family, incredible friends, a roof over my head. What else do I need?
